Why Sticking to One Topic Was Holding My Business Back
In this episode of Simplify to Thrive, I talk about why I stepped away from creating content, the advice that led me there, and the changes that brought me back. I cover how to build a personal brand that lets you talk about more than one topic, how rotating your content topics can lead to more sales, and why your values belong in your content.
Why I Took a Break
For a while, I stopped creating content. I wasn’t out of ideas. I was following the popular advice to pick one niche and stick to it, and it was draining me. When your content no longer reflects the full range of what you know and care about, it becomes harder to show up consistently.
There’s a difference between being clear about what you sell and limiting everything you talk about. Your offers can stay focused while your content covers the topics your audience cares about and the ones that keep you interested. A personal brand built around you, instead of a single topic, gives you that freedom.
Rotating Topics That Lead Back to What You Sell
I share the content strategy I now use to rotate between topics while connecting each one back to my paid offers. This approach keeps my audience engaged, keeps my content from feeling like a constant pitch, and has led to more sales.
What you believe in shapes how you work, and your audience wants to know it. When you share your values and show how they connect to your offers, people understand why you do things the way you do. That builds trust, and trust is what turns followers into clients.
If you’ve felt boxed in by your niche or bored by your own content, this episode will show you another way to build a brand that keeps you interested and keeps clients buying.
